The hotel exudes old-fashioned elegance. Comfortable beds and cozy rooms. Breakfast with made-to-order eggs. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely location with beautiful views. Relaxing spa facilities. Great value for money. Incredible opportunity to view volcano eruption.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The hotel was in a beautiful location, well situated for a walking holiday. Every morning we would look out from our balcony across the trees to see a sea of clouds below us, La Palma is truely a wonderful location for nature lovers and walkers. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We origionally booked for bed and breakfast but quickly changed to half board when we saw the quality of the food. If there was something on the menu you didnt like they would make something else for you. Ideal for vegetarians. All the fruit and vegetables were home grown, so it was lovely to eat good organic food for a week. The picnics we took on our walks were very filling and very good value. It is a place to come and relax after a day's walking.

The staff was very friendly and the location was amazing, with a lounge area and blackout curtains in the room which was a nice touch, and it only took a short 20-minute walk to reach the lake nearby.

The bar with the fire place. The breakfast is ok (Except the coffee)
It´s a good hotel but it´s old and it need some refreshment. The quality/price relation is not good. It´s too expensive. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from other nice villages or areas so you spent more time in the hotel.

Recently stayed at Hotel La Palma Romantica for a week-long trekking trip in the North. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great advice on nearby walks. The breakfasts were fantastic, and the evening meals had a great range of options. The hotel had excellent facilities, including indoor swimming pool, sauna, and tennis courts. The hillside location provided breathtaking views, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard, and the log fire in the bar area was a cozy touch. Plenty of parking available.
Can recommend this hotel.

We were a group of four people, mother and father in the 70´s, living in Norway and son and daughter in law in the 40-50`s, living on Gran Canaria (Norwegian). We all loved the hotel, friendly atmosfere and very nice staff, always wanted to bring you the best. Son and daughter both had birthday, and were surprised with cake. The building and sorroundings was so beautiful, the place quiet and really relaxing, perfect for all of us. We fell in love with this hotel, and will definitely go back, and bring with us our friends from Gran Canaria, where we live.
Hm, what could that be? Oh, yes, I wish the for better internet in the rooms. That would be perfect. It doesn´t cost to much, it takes only a few more accesspoints.

We stayed at a hotel with a beautiful location, nestled in its own tropical garden. the restaurant had a covered terrace with stunning view of the mountains overlooking the sea. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and our room was comfortable and spacious with blackout curtains and underfloor heating. We enjoyed a variety of home-cooked meals during breakfast and dinner and used the well-maintained gym and indoor/outdoor pools.
The lighting level in the room was too low, making it difficult to see at times.

Peaceful, relaxing hotel close to some wonderful walks amid spectacular scenery. Special thanks to Raquel on reception who was incredibly helpful in pointing out where to visit, walks to take, etc. the breakfast was amazing value at only 4 euros extra per person each day.
Felt like family, no complaints.
